If you're wondering how loud the CRAFTSMAN CMXEVBE17250 2.5 Gallon Wet/Dry Vac is, our research suggests it's something to consider, especially if you'll be using it indoors or in quieter settings. The vacuum has a 2.5 peak horsepower motor, which gives you decent suction power for lighter cleaning jobs around the house, garage, or work site. But heads up—several people have mentioned that it can get pretty noisy when it's running.
Now, keep in mind that portable wet/dry vacuums, like this one, often prioritize power and versatility over quietness. If you're particularly sensitive to sound or need a vacuum for quiet environments, this could be a factor in your decision.
This model is quite popular for smaller cleaning tasks because it's lightweight and easy to store—people often remark about how easy it is to carry and move around, which is a plus if you're working in tight spaces.
And it's generally effective for everyday messes and small spills. CRAFTSMAN also offers a three-year limited warranty, which is nice for a bit of extra confidence in its durability and performance.
On the downside, it might fall short for more intense cleaning jobs, given its limited capacity and power. Some folks have mentioned issues with the hose connection being a bit flimsy, which can be annoying if it detaches during use.
So, if you're after a simple, portable vacuum for light cleaning, this one could work for you. Just remember it might be louder than you'd expect, and consider the hose concerns.
If noise and durability are top priorities for you, it might be worth checking out other models with those features in mind.
