The PowerBlock Elite EXP Expansion Kit is designed to boost your PowerBlock Elite EXP adjustable dumbbells from 50 pounds up to 70 pounds. It's a handy upgrade if you want to increase your lifting capacity without getting a whole new set of dumbbells.

Just a heads up, though—make sure you're using the Elite EXP model, as this expansion doesn't fit older versions like the Classic or USA Elite.

According to the manufacturer's product description, this is actually a stage two upgrade for those with the initial 5-50 lb. Stage 1 Elite EXP dumbbells. By adding the kit, you get an extra 20 pounds per dumbbell, which is pretty neat if you're looking to gradually step up your strength training.

Our research shows folks really like how you can expand the PowerBlock system over time, instead of shelling out for new equipment with each advancement. This way of adding weights as you progress seems to save money, which many appreciate.

But, and it's a big but, make sure to check if your dumbbells can handle this expansion. Some people have had issues when they tried using the kit on other models like the USA Elite, mainly because the plate sizes differ and might not align properly.

So, double-check your model before buying to make sure you avoid any headaches down the road. That way, you can make the most of your PowerBlock Elite EXP Expansion Kit without any fuss.
