The Honest Assessment
The app can feel bloated and occasionally buggy (some settings may not save). Initial setup includes unskippable tutorials. However, once configured, daily interaction is minimal—most functions work directly via headphone controls.
The WH-1000XM6 offers more app customization than any competitor, which is valuable for users who want precise control over their listening experience.
