Samsung removed Bluetooth connectivity from the Galaxy S25 Ultra's S Pen because fewer than 1% of users utilized those features. This means Air Actions, remote camera shutter, and media controls from a distance are no longer available.

Features removed:

• Media playback controls from distance
• Presentation controls

Features that still work:

The S Pen remains excellent for all on-screen tasks with its 0.7mm tip and 4,096 pressure sensitivity levels. Writing, drawing, Screen Write annotations, S Pen to text conversion, Air View previews, and AI-powered sketch transformation all work perfectly.

Can Bluetooth be restored?

No. The hardware was physically removed. Older Bluetooth S Pens from previous Galaxy models won't restore these features either since the S25 Ultra lacks the necessary components.

Alternatives for remote photography:

A Samsung Galaxy Watch actually works better for remote shots since you can see a preview on your wrist. Affordable Bluetooth shutter remotes are another option, or simply use "Hey Google, take a photo" voice commands.

For most users, the S Pen's core stylus capabilities matter more than the removed Bluetooth features. But if you relied heavily on Air Actions or remote shutter, this is a genuine downgrade.
