TLDR Review: Surface Pro 2025
Verdict
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2-in-1 (2025) is a sleek, powerful, and portable Windows 11 device ideal for users who need full desktop capabilities in a tablet form factor—especially travelers and college students. However, if you want a smooth tablet experience with a rich library of touch-optimized apps or gaming, this may not be your best pick due to Windows 11’s clunky tablet mode and app limitations. It also requires buying a keyboard separately to unlock its full 2-in-1 potential. If you're looking for a similar device but want a more polished tablet experience or fewer connectivity hassles, consider waiting for updates or exploring other Surface models or premium 2-in-1 laptops with better tablet mode support.
- Top pro:
- Extremely efficient and smooth performance for work, reading, and browsing, delivering a highly satisfying overall experience.
- Top con:
- Keyboard is not included and must be purchased separately to fully utilize the 2-in-1 functionality.

Cons
- •Keyboard is not included and must be purchased separately to fully utilize the 2-in-1 functionality.

- •Troubleshooting support is reportedly unhelpful, leaving some performance and connectivity problems unresolved.
