TLDR Review: Scotts 2000-20S Push Reel Lawn Mower
Verdict
The Scotts Outdoor Power Tools 2000-20S 20-Inch 5-Blade Classic Push Reel Lawn Mower is an excellent choice for environmentally conscious homeowners with small yards. While it offers a quiet, low-maintenance, and precise mowing experience, it may struggle with taller grass and obstructions. If you need a mower that handles thicker grass or larger lawns, you might want to consider a powered mower instead.
- Top pro:
- Simple and eco-friendly alternative to gas-powered mowers
- Top con:
- Assembly required, which can be time-consuming
Score
The Scotts Outdoor Power Tools 2000-20S 20-Inch Push Reel Lawn Mower receives a moderate score due to its lightweight design, ease of use, and eco-friendly operation, making it suitable for smaller lawns. However, customers report issues with missing spots in uneven terrain, struggles with tall grass, and a propensity for jamming on twigs, indicating that it may not meet the needs of all users. Overall, for those who maintain their lawns regularly and have suitable grass types, this mower offers a reliable, less maintenance-intensive alternative to gas-powered mowers.
