TLDR Review: Samsung Odyssey G8 Gaming Monitor
Verdict
If you want a jaw-dropping 32-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor with ultra-fast refresh and response times, superb color, and smart features built-in, the SAMSUNG Odyssey QD-OLED G8 (G80SD) is a premium choice for immersive gaming and multimedia. However, it’s important to know this monitor blurs the line between smart TV and PC display—expect some smart TV annoyances like pop-ups, forced audio defaults, and reliance on a remote that might frustrate traditional desktop users. If you prioritize a clean, dedicated gaming monitor experience without those quirks, you might want to consider more traditional high-refresh LCD gaming monitors instead. Otherwise, for those who value stunning OLED visuals with smart functionality baked in, this monitor is hard to beat.
