TLDR Review: OXO GG Stronghold Suction Basket
Verdict
The OXO GG Stronghold Suction Large Basket excels as a fogless shower mirror with a clever warm water reservoir and strong suction when engaged properly. However, the suction mechanism may be hit-or-miss, especially for the basket component which struggles to hold lighter items without falling off. If reliable suction is your top priority or you want a travel-sized option, you might want to explore alternatives. Otherwise, this is a durable, well-designed choice that makes shaving in the shower hassle-free for many users.
- Top pro:
- Rock-solid suction mount that generally stays firmly in place when the locking mechanism is properly engaged
- Top con:
- Suction cups can be inconsistent—many users report poor sticking power and frequent detachment, especially for the basket accessory
