TLDR Review: Insta360 ONE RS 4K Edition
Verdict
The Insta360 ONE RS 4K Edition is a powerhouse for those who want impressive image quality and versatile modularity wrapped in a solid, well-built action camera. Its FlowState stabilization and superior audio set it apart in the action camera crowd, while AI editing and phone app control add convenience. However, the 29-minute video segment limit, overheating issues, and some software quirks suggest it’s best for users who prioritize advanced features and are willing to manage some technical trade-offs. If you want a seamless software experience coupled with equally strong hardware, considering alternatives from other brands may be worth your time. Otherwise, this camera is a great pick for adventurous multi-mode shooting with pro-level results.

- Top con:
- Firmware updates introduced an irritating 29-minute recording limit per video segment (due to EU regulations), complicating the editing process. Although possible, rolling back firmware sacrifices future updates.
