TLDR Review: DEWALT DCV580H Vacuum
Verdict
If you need a cordless, portable vacuum that’s great for quick, light cleanup jobs and fits perfectly in a DEWALT 20V tool collection, the DEWALT 20V MAX Cordless Wet-Dry Vacuum (DCV580H) delivers reliable convenience without breaking a sweat. However, don’t expect it to replace a full-sized shop vacuum or handle heavy-duty messes with gusto—its suction is on the mild side. For those after stronger suction and bigger capacity, a traditional shop vac might serve you better. For casual use and quick spot cleaning, this is a solid, lightweight choice that complements your DEWALT toolkit nicely.
- Top pro:
- Reliable, high-quality performance that professionals trust, especially for light cleanup tasks.
- Top con:
- Suction power is noticeably weaker compared to traditional shop vacuums, limiting heavy-duty cleaning capabilities.

- •Battery life, while good for small tasks, may not hold up for extended or heavy-duty cleaning sessions.
