TLDR Review: DeWalt DCB205-2C 20V Battery Kit
Verdict
This is a solid choice if you're building a DEWALT 20V MAX tool collection and want the power upgrade over basic batteries without the premium price tag of PowerStack models. The two included 5Ah batteries deliver noticeably more torque and runtime than lower capacity options, making them ideal for serious DIY projects and professional-grade work. Just be aware that the battery attachment can be a bit snug, and you'll want to monitor usage with power-hungry tools like saws. Overall, reviewers highly recommend this starter kit as an excellent value for extending your tool runtime and capability.
- Top pro:
- Noticeably more powerful than lower capacity batteries, delivering increased torque across tools like weedeaters, circular saws, and impact drivers
