Verdict
The ARRIS G36 modem/router combo offers promising features on paper but is marred by significant connectivity issues, particularly with its 2.5G port and the accompanying Surfboard app. While setup might be straightforward, ongoing stability problems and poor customer service make it difficult to recommend. If multitasking or stable, high-speed connectivity is critical for your usage, you might want to consider alternative modem/router combos that offer better performance and support.
