TLDR Review: Altec Lansing Baby Boom XL
Verdict
The Altec Lansing Baby Boom XL excels as a portable, waterproof speaker that delivers genuinely impressive sound quality for its size and price—making it fantastic for showers, pool parties, and outdoor use. However, the unreliable battery that dies unexpectedly and frustrating button controls are legitimate concerns that could significantly impact your experience. If you're primarily using this for casual listening in wet environments and can live with potential battery quirks, it's a solid buy. But if you need dependable battery life and smooth operation, you might want to weigh your options carefully before committing.
