TLDR Review: 18 in. Reel Mower
Verdict
The Remington RM3100 is a reliable, eco-friendly choice for small to medium lawns, offering adjustable cutting height and quiet operation. However, the grass catcher's stability could be better, and it may not be ideal for very tall grass or larger lawns. If you need a straightforward, manual lawn mower that gets the job done without the noise and maintenance of gas or electric models, this is a solid pick.
- Top pro:
- Quiet operation, perfect for early mornings or late evenings without disturbing the neighbors.
- Top con:
- Basket stability needs improvement; may require adjustment during use.
Score
The Remington RM3100 receives a moderate score due to its solid construction and ease of assembly as highlighted by users, but it struggles with cutting long grass and often jams on debris, which can lead to a frustrating mowing experience. While it offers good value for smaller, well-maintained lawns, potential buyers should note its limitations with uneven terrain and tougher grass types.
