🔐 How to Sign In to the ShopSavvy Browser Extension
Sync your watched products, retailer preferences, and notifications across web, mobile, and desktop.
The browser extension works without an account — comparison panels still pop up on retailer pages — but signing in unlocks watching, alerts, and cross-device sync.
How to Sign In
- Click the ShopSavvy icon in your browser toolbar (or open the side panel).
- At the top of the panel, tap Sign In.
- Choose Sign in with email, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google.
- Use the same account you use on the iPhone, Android, or Desktop apps. If you don't have one, the extension can create one on the spot.
- After signing in, you'll see your watched products at the top of the panel and a green dot on the toolbar icon when one of them drops in price.
What Signing In Gets You
- Cross-device watch list — products you watch in the extension show up on your phone and desktop, and vice versa.
- Price-drop alerts — desktop notifications when a watched item drops below your alert threshold.
- Retailer preferences — preferred and excluded retailers carry over from the apps.
- Comment and vote on community deals from the extension's deals tab.
Tips
- If you ever want to use the extension anonymously again, sign out — the comparison panel keeps working without an account, you just lose syncing and alerts.
- The extension uses the same login system as the apps. Resetting your password on shopsavvy.com resets it everywhere.
- For shared computers, sign out when you're done — your watch list is private and would otherwise be visible to the next user.
