🛍️ How to See ShopSavvy Prices While Browsing Retailer Sites
The browser extension surfaces the best price across retailers right next to whatever you're looking at.
When you install the ShopSavvy extension in Chrome, Edge, or Safari and visit a product page on Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target, or any of the other supported retailers, it pops up a panel comparing that exact product across competing retailers.
How to Set It Up
- Install the ShopSavvy browser extension. Get it from shopsavvy.com/extension or the Chrome Web Store / Edge Add-ons / Safari Extensions Gallery.
- Pin the extension icon to your browser's toolbar so you can always see it.
- Browse to any product on a supported retailer.
- The extension automatically detects the product and surfaces the comparison panel.
What You'll See
- The same product at every retailer that carries it, sorted by price.
- The current price-history low and the all-time low for context.
- Buttons to Watch the product, Compare prices, or jump to another retailer in one click.
- If the assistant has found any active coupon codes, those appear as chips you can copy.
Tips
- The panel can be docked as a side panel (Chrome/Edge) or a floating overlay — pick what feels less intrusive.
- For Safari, you'll need to grant the extension permission to access retailer pages once. Safari only asks once per retailer.
- The extension respects your retailer preferences — excluded retailers won't appear in the comparison.
- Sign in to the extension to sync your watch list and notifications with the mobile and desktop apps.
