🔎 How to Find ShopSavvy Items in iPhone Spotlight Search
Your watched products, recent searches, and active deals all show up when you swipe down on the home screen.
On iPhone and iPad, ShopSavvy indexes its content into Spotlight — the system-wide search you get by swiping down on the home screen. So you can jump straight to a watched product or a hot deal without opening the app first.
What's Indexed
ShopSavvy adds three types of items to Spotlight:
- Watched products — every product on your watch list, by title.
- Active deals — currently-trending deals from the deals feed.
- Recent searches — searches you've run lately, so you can rerun them in one tap.
How to Use It
- From any iPhone or iPad home screen, swipe down with one finger.
- Type part of a product title, deal name, or past search term.
- Tap the matching ShopSavvy result.
- The app opens directly to that product, deal, or search — no extra navigation.
Tips
- Spotlight results refresh automatically as you watch and unwatch products. There is nothing to manually re-index.
- If results feel stale, scroll your watched list once in the app — that nudges Spotlight to refresh.
- Spotlight only sees content from accounts signed in on this device. If you sign out, your indexed items disappear.
- This works hand-in-hand with Siri Shortcuts — Spotlight is great for the things you remember by name, Siri is great for "anything new on my watchlist?"
