ShopSavvy is a price comparison app — not a store. Here is the difference.
A lot of people arrive at ShopSavvy thinking we are a retailer. We are not. Here is what we actually do.
What ShopSavvy Is
ShopSavvy is a price comparison and deal-finding app. We have been around since 2008 and we are downloaded by tens of millions of people. What the app does:
- Scan a barcode or search for a product, and we show prices from thousands of stores (online and nearby).
- Watch a product and we notify you when the price drops.
- Post deals, vote on them, and see what is trending.
- Ask a shopping assistant to recommend products, compare them, or find the cheapest option.
We always sort results by price. No store can pay to appear higher.
What ShopSavvy Is Not
- We do not sell products. If you bought something "through ShopSavvy" you actually bought it from a retailer (Amazon, Walmart, Target, etc.) we linked you to.
- We do not process orders or shipping. If your package is late, charged wrong, or never arrived, that is between you and the retailer.
- We do not issue refunds for purchases made at other stores. Returns go through the retailer you bought from.
Where to Go for Retailer Issues
If you need help with an order:
- Find the retailer's order email (not from ShopSavvy — look for confirmation from the actual store).
- Contact their support. Most have a chat or a "contact us" page.
- If you are not sure which store you bought from, check your bank or credit card statement — the store name is on the charge.
