✉️ How to Change the Email on Your ShopSavvy Account
We can update the email on your account if you lost access to the original address or changed providers.
Your account email is used for sign-in and for notifications. ShopSavvy does not yet have a self-serve way to change it — we handle it manually so we can confirm you actually own both addresses.
How to Request the Change
- Email support@shopsavvy.com from your new email address.
- In the message, include:
- Your old email (the one currently on the account).
- Your new email.
- A short line confirming the request is from you.
- We reply to confirm once the change is made — usually within a couple of business days.
Why We Do It This Way
An email change is a common target for account takeover. Handling it through support lets us verify ownership of both addresses and keep your account safe.
Tips
- If you lost access to the old address entirely, write to us from the new one and include any details that help verify the account — your display name, recent watched products, or the approximate date you signed up.
- After the change, check your notification settings at More → Settings → Notifications so alerts go to the right inbox.
