📞 How to Use Call for Me
Have your shopping assistant call nearby stores to check stock, prices, and price matching.
Call for Me is a Desktop-only feature where the shopping assistant phones local stores on your behalf — checking inventory, current price, deal status, and whether they will price match a competitor.
How to Do It
- Open the Desktop app and start (or open) a conversation about a specific product.
- Ask the assistant something like:
- "Call my local Target and see if they have this in stock."
- "Call the nearest Best Buy and ask if they will match this Amazon price."
- "Check three nearby stores to see who has the best price."
- The assistant places the call in the background. A live progress card appears in the conversation showing the store name, call status, and a real-time transcript.
- When the call ends, you will see a summary — stock, price, any quoted promo, and whether they agreed to a price match.
What It Can Do
- Confirm in-stock status before you drive to the store.
- Ask about a current promotion the website does not show.
- Request a price match against a specific competitor's offer.
- Check on order or pickup status.
Tips
- Tell the assistant the city or zip code if it should pick stores near a place you are not currently in.
- For best results, give it the exact competitor URL or retailer name when asking about a price match.
- Calls happen in real time, so a busy store may take a minute or two — you can keep working in the app.
