The Aokeo 1-Channel Phantom Power Supply delivers the standard 48V necessary for condenser microphones. That's the usual requirement if you’re using this type of mic. Just a heads-up, some folks have mentioned problems with the power adapter you get with it.
From what we've found, there are instances where the included 18V power adapter was dead right out of the box. Some users even reported that their power pack started smoking, which could raise some safety concerns.
While these issues exist, many others seem pleased with their purchase. Some have noted it's a good starter option for getting your condenser mic up and running, since it doesn't have any complicated controls to deal with.
If you're thinking about grabbing this phantom power supply, double-check that it's suitable for your local voltage. And maybe look for a retailer with a solid return policy, just in case anything goes wrong.
Like with any electronic device, reliability can be hit or miss sometimes due to how they're made. However, with an overall rating of 4.3 out of 5, it seems plenty of users are satisfied when it operates as it should.
So, while it usually works well, it's wise to be aware of the potential hiccups some users have encountered.
