So, the Architectural Mailboxes 6300B-10 Oasis 360 doesn't come with mounting hardware, which is confirmed by several sources and the details from the manufacturer. You'll need to sort out the installation hardware on your own.
The good news is that it has pre-drilled mounting holes, about 4 inches by 10 inches, which generally fit standard posts. But yep, you'll need to grab the right mounting gear or a matching post separately to set it up.
Our research shows that once you have the right tools and materials, mounting this mailbox shouldn't be too difficult. Just double-check that the hardware you choose will work with your post. A few folks mentioned that they discovered the mailbox needed specific hardware that wasn't mentioned in the instructions, which led them to make a trip to the local store for adapters or other mounting parts that they couldn't find online.
Others have shared similar experiences, needing to either drill extra holes or grab some mounting brackets from the company to make sure everything fits securely.
So, it might be worth planning for a bit of a DIY project or some extra purchases to ensure the installation goes smoothly.
Although there's no mounting hardware included, folks tend to really appreciate the mailbox's stylish appearance, sturdiness, and solid protection against theft. If you're after a straightforward installation, maybe consider picking up a full installation kit or reaching out to the manufacturer or seller for advice—could save you some headaches down the line.
Getting prepped with the right tools and hardware can make the installation process a lot easier, so you can start enjoying the mailbox's security and durability as soon as possible.
