The Architectural Mailboxes 6300B-10 Oasis 360 seems like a solid choice if you're worried about package and mail theft. According to the manufacturer's description, it has a strong build and includes dual keyed locks on both the front and rear doors. This means you can access your mail safely without having to go out onto the road.
From what we've found, people generally appreciate the mailbox's sturdy construction and the peace of mind it offers, especially in areas where mail theft is a concern. The dual locking system is a standout feature for many. Some folks recommend using something like WD40 to keep the locks running smoothly, which is a handy tip.
That said, there have been a few reports of durability issues with the locks over time. Some people have experienced stiff locks or trouble with the keys and ended up replacing the lock mechanism eventually.
As for installation, it's described as pretty straightforward. The manufacturer says it's pre-drilled to make setting it up easier, but you should be aware that mounting hardware isn't included. So, you might need to pick up some extras or fiddle with your current setup to get it to fit just right.
The mailbox is made of corrosion-resistant powder-coated galvanized steel, which helps it withstand the weather—crucial for something that's out in the elements all the time. Make sure it fits well with your existing post, or take any necessary steps to adjust it, and it should perform as expected.
In short, the Oasis 360 can be a dependable option for keeping your deliveries safe, provided you keep an eye on the lock mechanism and install it correctly.
