What "Armor" actually means:

Regular Gorilla Glass protects against drops and scratches. The "Armor" version adds serious glare reduction. Corning says it cuts reflections by 75%. In practical terms, you can actually see your screen in bright sunlight without cupping your hand around it.

Combined with the S26 Ultra's 2,600 nit display, outdoor visibility is genuinely good.

How tough is it?

Corning claims 75% better scratch resistance compared to standard glass. In testing, it survives 2-meter drops onto rough surfaces.

It handles keys and coins in your pocket without issues. Daily wear won't leave marks. But nothing is completely scratch-proof. Sand and certain materials can still damage it.

The fingerprint situation:
