What they do:

LUT (Look-Up Table) is what colorists use to give movies their distinctive look. Samsung built this into the camera so your videos look more cinematic without editing.

The five presets:

Basic - Normal colors. Use when you don't want any special look.

Blockbuster - High contrast, punchy colors. Action film aesthetic. Makes everything more dramatic.

Coming of Age - Warm, nostalgic, slightly faded blacks. Indie film vibe. Good for personal videos and travel.

Romance - Soft and warm. Flattering light, gentle contrast. Dreamier look.

Thriller - Cool tones, dark shadows. Creates tension. Good for moody content.

How to use:

Open camera, go to video mode, tap effects icon. See LUT options. Pick one and watch viewfinder change in real-time.

The catch:

LUTs bake into the video file. Can't remove after recording. For editing flexibility, record in Log format instead.
