What charger do I need for 60W fast charging on the Galaxy S26 Ultra?

nullSamsung didn't put a charger in the box. You just get a cable. To hit 60W charging, you need the right charger.

What the S26 Ultra needs:

A USB-C charger rated for at least 60W that supports PPS (Programmable Power Supply). That second part matters. A generic 100W charger without PPS might only charge at 25W because the phone and charger can't negotiate properly.

The safe choice:

Samsung's own 65W Super Fast Charger. About $50, guarantees full speed, no compatibility questions. Samsung says dead to 75% in about 30 minutes.

Third-party options:

GaN chargers from Anker, Belkin, Baseus, and Ugreen work well. Look for 65W models with explicit PPS support. GaN chargers are smaller and run cooler than older designs.

Most 65W USB-C chargers made recently include PPS. But double-check specs before buying.

What about existing chargers?

A 25W or 45W Samsung charger from a previous phone works. Just slower. A 25W charger takes roughly twice as long to fully charge compared to 60W.

MacBook or laptop chargers with USB-C probably work but might not hit maximum speed without PPS.

The cable matters too:

Use a decent USB-C cable rated for high power. Samsung's included cable works fine. Cheap cables might not handle 60W safely.

Wireless charging:

Separate purchase. The S26 Ultra supports up to 25W wireless with Qi2 chargers. Standard Qi works at slower speeds.
