Hey! So, if you're looking into those White Knight 40400SBLT Blue Wheel Locks and wondering about the paint durability, I did some digging for you.
First up, these wheel locks come with a 1/2"-20 thread size and are made from cold forged carbon steel, which the manufacturer claims makes them pretty tough against theft. They're also supposed to be user-friendly, with dual hex key sockets (19mm & 21mm), so you can get them on with a regular socket wrench in no time.
Now, about the paint—I came across a few things. According to our research, they seem to be easy to install and do their primary job well.
But, when it comes to that blue paint, some folks have pointed out that it might not hold up too well. A few noticed the color wearing off even while putting them on, and this isn't just an issue with the blue shade but other colors too.
So, while they secure your wheels effectively, keeping that fresh painted look might be tricky over time.
In short, the White Knight wheel locks score well on security. Just something to think about if you're keen on how they look too.
Double-checking the fit with your car's manual or the manufacturer's guide is a smart move to make sure you get it right and avoid any fitment issues.
Hope that helps you decide if these are the wheel locks you want!
