The Stonebriar tea lights are advertised as being nearly smokeless when you put them out. This is because of their design and the materials used—basically, they're made from high-quality palm wax and have lead-free cotton wicks to keep smoke to a minimum.
From what we found, they mostly live up to this. A lot of people are happy with how long they burn and how little smoke they produce. They often mention that the candles do last around the 8 hours promised and don't make much of a mess.
That said, not everyone has the same experience. Some folks have mentioned a few issues, like the candles sometimes not making it to the full 8 hours, or the wicks being a bit flimsy and going out early, making them hard to relight.
So, while they generally seem to do what they're supposed to, there can be some differences depending on the batch or how they're used. If you're relying on them for something important, maybe try a couple first to see how they work out for you.
Overall, if you want tea lights with a long burn time and little smoke, they should work well—just keep in mind there can be some variation.
