TLDR Review: Zoom H5 Portable Recorder
Verdict
The Zoom H5 Four-Track Portable Recorder excels in delivering high-quality audio with versatile recording features. It's rugged, user-friendly, and packed with functions like a backup recording feature, auto-record, and USB audio interface. However, its relatively short battery life and potentially confusing menu system might be drawbacks for some users. If extended battery life is a must, considering other options might be wise.
- Top pro:
- Excellent sound quality thanks to stereo XY microphone.
- Top con:
- Battery life lasts only approximately 3-5 hours with phantom power, potentially limiting extended recording sessions.
