Verdict
While the Zoo Med Tropical Bioactive Substrate Kit boasts appealing aesthetics and effectively provides suitable environments for small pets like geckos and tarantulas, it falls short in providing sufficient quantity for larger setups. The lack of a substrate mesh and its misleading marketing as a comprehensive bioactive kit could deter potential buyers. Consider your setup size and needs before purchasing. If you're looking for a more comprehensive bioactive solution, this might not fully meet your expectations.
