TLDR Review: Wyze Stick Vacuum Cleaner
Verdict
The Wyze Lightweight Stick Vacuum is a solid choice for those seeking a budget-friendly, cordless vacuum with strong suction for pet hair and everyday hard floor cleaning. Its lightweight feel, LED lights, and versatile power settings add real value, but be prepared for shorter battery life than advertised and a somewhat flimsy wall mount. If battery endurance or plush carpet cleaning is your top priority, you might want to compare options with longer run times or more robust design. Otherwise, this vacuum delivers impressive performance and exceptional customer support for its price point, making it a smart pick for smaller homes or quick cleanups.
- Top pro:
- Strong suction power at 24Kpa works very well on hard floors, tile, low pile carpets, and pet hair, though less so on very thick or fluffy carpets.
- Top con:
- Actual runtime often falls closer to 25 minutes rather than the advertised 50, especially in turbo mode where battery drains quickly.
Pros
- •Strong suction power at 24Kpa works very well on hard floors, tile, low pile carpets, and pet hair, though less so on very thick or fluffy carpets.
- •Lightweight and highly maneuverable, making it easy to use and carry around the house.
- •Built-in LED lights on the vacuum head effectively illuminate dark areas like under furniture for better cleaning visibility.
- •Offers three power settings with a convenient trigger lock for continuous cleaning without holding down the button.
- •Transparent dust bin lets you see dirt buildup clearly, and it’s simple to empty.
- •Battery life on regular settings is decent and reliable for small to medium cleaning sessions, though turbo drains faster.
- •Excellent and responsive customer support, including free replacement parts like improved dust bin gaskets and batteries.
- •Charging time is typical at 4-5 hours, with clear battery level indicators.
- •Wall mount is included, providing a dedicated storage spot.
Cons
- •Actual runtime often falls closer to 25 minutes rather than the advertised 50, especially in turbo mode where battery drains quickly.
- •Wall mount and charging cord length can be inconvenient; the mount may feel flimsy for some users.
- •The stick does not lock upright, so it needs to be leaned against a wall when not in use or charging.
- •Dust bin gasket might loosen over time, although improved replacements are available.
- •Suction, while powerful, is not as effective on thick, plush carpets compared to higher-end or corded vacuums.
- •Battery life diminishes quickly in the highest power mode, limiting use in larger homes without frequent recharging.
- •No integrated stand or wall holder specifically designed for upright storage convenience.
