TLDR Review: WD Red Pro 20TB HDD
Verdict
This Western Digital 20TB WD Red Pro NAS drive is a powerhouse for anyone needing serious storage in a NAS environment. Its high capacity, reliability, and steady performance make it ideal for professional or heavy-duty use. Just be aware of potential warranty registration issues due to OEM labeling, and consider your noise preferences if operating in quiet spaces. If you want a quieter option, especially with lower RPM, you might explore drives like the Seagate variants that prioritize quieter operation at the expense of some speed. For most NAS users demanding large, dependable storage, this drive checks all the boxes.
