TLDR Review: VEVOR Weight Distribution Hitch
Verdict
While this hitch gives you the sweet high of a bargain and winks at you with ease of installation and commendable performance, it plays hard to get when it comes to reliability and safety. Before letting it sweep you off your feet, consider playing the field with a more dependable charmer like the BlueOx or Equalizer system.
- Top pro:
- Hitch is described as a stellar steal for the casual hauler, honey.
- Top con:
- Requires a torque wrench for attachment, and let's be real, not everyone's a walking toolbox.
Pros
- •Hitch is described as a stellar steal for the casual hauler, honey.
- •Assembly is as easy as pie, making it a breeze even for those who aren't mechanically inclined.
- •This bad boy didn't flinch on a 5-hour joyride, pulling an 8000 lb travel trailer without breaking a sweat.
- •Handles like a dream in both Marilyn Monroe curves and flat terrains, not to mention the blow-your-hat-off windy conditions.
- •It's like the Hulk of hitches, sturdy and reliable, making a 30 ft travel trailer its sidekick.
- •Why spend more when this gem gives you a bang for your buck and cuts the professional installation cost?
- •Comes highly recommended for those big, burly trailers, because size does matter.
- •Compatible with vehicles touting a 2 inch hitch, making it the perfect accessory for your ride.
- •It's the belle of the ball with a shining 5.0 overall star rating, so you know it's not just all talk.
Cons
- •Requires a torque wrench for attachment, and let's be real, not everyone's a walking toolbox.
- •Hitch and sway control are about as trustworthy as a used car salesman, feeling unsafe at highway speeds.
- •If you're hoping for a long-term relationship, this isn't it. It rusts after a short tryst with rain.
- •Constructed with materials that feel like they're straight out of a discount bin.
- •The sway control basically throws its hands up in defeat when things get rough, leaving your trailer to waltz on the highway.
- •Honey, it's not just your in-laws judging its quality; it's cheap, and not in the charming way.
