TLDR Review: Utopia 360° Virtual Reality Headset

By ShopSavvy Team

Published: December 16th, 2024

Pros

•Comfort: The headset's cushioning and adjustable features provide a decent level of comfort, especially for shorter use periods.
•Sound Quality: The bundled Bluetooth headphones enhance the overall VR experience with strong audio performance.
•Adjustability and AR Capability: The ability to customize lens separation and access the phone's camera for augmented reality applications adds versatility.

Cons

•Design Flaws: The weight balance causes discomfort after extended use, and the phone clips tend to unintentionally press device buttons.
•Durability Concerns: Issues with headphone longevity and the potential fragility of straps and other components raise concerns about the product's build quality.
•Visual Quality and Immersion: The presence of visible internal mechanics and a diminished field of view affect immersion, making the experience less seamless.

Bottom Line

This headset serves as an entry-level option for newcomers to VR who might prioritize cost over prolonged comfort and advanced features. However, for a truly immersive experience, considering a more robust and refined model could be beneficial.
