TLDR Review: UGREEN Power Bank 25,000mAh 145W
Verdict
The UGREEN 145W Power Bank is an excellent choice if you want a powerful, high-capacity portable charger that handles demanding devices like gaming laptops and MacBook Pros with ease. Its fast charging, stable output, and large capacity make it ideal for travel and high-power use, though you do need the right cable to unlock its full potential. Just be aware it may lose some charge if left unused initially and that charging the power bank itself can take a while. If you want similarly powerful charging but want an alternative with potentially better charge retention or other features, feel free to explore options, but this model holds its own as a high-quality, reliable workhorse.
- Top pro:
- Delivers ultra-fast charging up to 145W, capable of powering high-demand devices like gaming laptops and MacBook Pros, even increasing battery percentage while in use.
- Top con:
- To reach maximum power delivery, a USB-C PD 3.1 E-marked (5A) cable is required, which might not be included or widely available.
Pros
- •Delivers ultra-fast charging up to 145W, capable of powering high-demand devices like gaming laptops and MacBook Pros, even increasing battery percentage while in use.
- •Dual USB-C ports (up to 140W and 100W) plus a USB-A port allow simultaneous multi-device charging.
- •Compact, premium design with a convenient TFT digital display showing real-time battery level, voltage, and estimated charge time.
- •Large 25,000mAh capacity provides multiple full charges for laptops, tablets, phones, and handheld consoles like the ROG Ally X or Steam Deck.
- •Real-world wattage output tested around 120–130W, which closely matches the advertised specs, showing no capacity exaggeration.
- •Fast recharging time of about 2 hours using a 65W PD charger ensures quick turnaround.

Cons
- •To reach maximum power delivery, a USB-C PD 3.1 E-marked (5A) cable is required, which might not be included or widely available.

- •Takes a long time to fully recharge due to its large capacity.
- •Does not always achieve a full 100W charge on some devices, though still close.
- •No protective case is included, so you need to be careful or buy a case separately to guard against wear and tear.
- •The effective capacity is around 76% of the rated 25,000mAh, which aligns with expected efficiency but may feel lower than advertised.
