Verdict
The TP-Link AX1500 WiFi Extender (RE500X) is a reliable option for those looking to upgrade to WiFi 6 and improve overall network performance, especially with OneMesh compatibility and a capability to handle numerous devices. However, its bulky size and issues with 5GHz connectivity could be drawbacks for some users. It excels when used as an access point with wired connections, and while it provides significant speed improvements, its range might not satisfy everyone. Consider alternatives if eliminating dead zones is a priority, or if space is a concern due to its size.
