TLDR Review: TOZO A1 Earbuds
Verdict
The TOZO A1 Wireless Earbuds offer an outstanding value, blending solid sound quality, robust waterproofing, and an impressively customizable EQ for the price. They are ideal for active users who want a durable, comfy pair of earbuds for workouts, calls, and casual listening without breaking the bank. However, if you need industry-leading fit security, very low latency, or premium sound/finish, you might want to consider pricier alternatives. For a budget-friendly, feature-packed option with excellent waterproofing and easy customization, these earbuds are definitely worth serious consideration.

Pros
- •True IPX5 waterproof rating makes these earbuds ideal for sweating, showering, gym sessions, and outdoor yard work without worry.
- •Impressive battery life of about 4-5+ hours per charge with a charging case that holds multiple full charges; earbuds recharge quickly to 80-90% in around 20 minutes.
- •Multiple sizes of ear tips included provide a snug and comfortable fit right out of the box, minimizing the need for adjustments.
- •Sound quality punches above its weight, delivering deep bass along with well-balanced mids and highs suitable for casual listening and calls.
- •The dedicated TOZO app offers a robust 10-band equalizer with ±5 dB adjustment, customizable presets, and access to hundreds of user profiles for tailored sound.
- •Bluetooth 5.3 provides smooth, reliable pairing with devices and decent range around the house.
- •Microphones perform well on calls, delivering clear voice quality that works great for meetings.
- •Compact and lightweight design fits smaller ears well and is comfortable even for extended wear, including sleeping.
- •Durable enough to survive accidental drops and even washing machine cycles, indicating strong build quality beyond what the plastic appearance suggests.
- •Volume limiting helps protect ear health by preventing excessive loudness.
Cons
- •Some users report earbuds may loosen or fall out after about an hour, likely due to sweat or ear humidity, requiring either periodic adjustment or use of retention accessories.
- •The overall build quality feels quite plastic, especially the charging case, which may not inspire confidence for long-term durability.
- •Slight but noticeable audio delay compared to premium wireless earbuds like AirPods, which could be an issue for video or gaming use.
- •Battery status is only visible via the app, which is less convenient for those who want quick glance info.
- •Sound quality and noise cancellation are good for the price but clearly not on par with high-end earbuds.
- •Longevity is uncertain; while some users reported excellent multi-year use, others worry the battery may degrade after a few months of heavy daily wear.
- •Noise cancellation muffles loud environments but doesn’t block out all ambient noise completely.
- •Some users feel the volume could be louder, especially in noisy settings.
