TLDR Review: Synology DS225+ DiskStation
Verdict
The Synology DS225+ offers solid performance and reliable storage, particularly suited for users who value privacy and straightforward backup solutions. However, its setup complexity, compatibility quirks, and support issues may give pause—especially if you want a plug-and-play device. If ease of use and minimal hassle are high priorities, you might want to explore alternatives like the WD MyCloud, which tend to be more user-friendly out of the box.
