TLDR Review: Suncast Hosemobile 175 ft.
Verdict
While the Suncast CPLJNF175D Hosemobile provides a straightforward setup and a 3-year warranty, frequent reports of poor quality and structural issues diminish its appeal. The material and construction appear to be inadequate for long-term use, particularly outdoors, with the actual hose capacity falling short of advertised claims. For those needing a robust and dependable hose reel solution, you might prefer exploring alternatives that emphasize greater durability and stability.

Pros
- •Simple setup process makes it easy to assemble and use.
- •Offers a 3-year warranty, which provides some assurance for potential issues.
- •More suitable for use with a 100' hose or in smaller areas.
Cons
- •Reports of poor quality control, with recent models showing decreased durability and build quality.
- •Alleged brass fitting on the short hose prone to breaking and leaking.
- •Wheels are inadequate for supporting the weight when using a 100' hose, causing mobility issues.
- •Plasticy material feels weak, leading to concerns about its ability to withstand outdoor conditions.
- •Advertised capacity of 175 ft is inaccurate; users report a 100 ft hose maxes out the reel.
- •Some users reported breakage and other issues even when stored indoors, questioning overall durability.
- •Handle design is not practical for storing the nozzle, and gaps are too narrow.
- •Issues with the hose connection have led to leaks and water trickling instead of flowing.
- •The reel has been known to collapse or flex under its own weight, making it difficult to use.
