TLDR Review: Stihl MS 162 Chainsaw
Verdict
The Stihl MS 162 Chainsaw 30 cm is a lightweight, reliable, and powerful tool that excels for hobbyists and domestic users who need a compact yet effective chainsaw. It delivers excellent cutting performance and user comfort, making it a great choice for pruning, firewood, and storm cleanup. However, beware of occasional quality control hiccups and the lack of return options if you encounter issues. Overall, it’s a solid, well-balanced saw that lives up to Stihl’s reputation for durability and reliability, especially if you prioritize maneuverability and ease of use in a compact form. If you want to explore other options, consider chainsaws with more robust quality control or extra safety features, but for most home users, this model strikes a great balance.
