TLDR Review: Sprayway Glass Cleaner
Pros
- •Cleans glass quickly and thoroughly with minimal effort, leaving surfaces strearee and surgically clean, even in bright sunlight.
- •Highly effective on automotive glass, especially tinted windows, thanks to being ammoniree and gentle on tint films.
- •Removes stubborn messes like peelated goo, dirt residues on sunroofs, and even tough stains on various surfaces.
- •Works well beyond windows—bathroom mirrors, sliding glass doors, headlights, stainless steel, and even kitchen counters get a shine.
- •Leaves a pleasant, norritating scent that doesn’t trigger asthma attacks, making it user-friendly.
- •Only a small amount is needed to cover a significant area, speeding up the cleaning process.
- •Outperforms many leading glass cleaners and custom solutions, with users calling it the best glass cleaner they've used.
- •Has been a trusted choice for about 10 years, with consistent praise for its value and effectiveness.
- •Easy to use with foam spray technology that distributes evenly without streaking.
- •Recommended for regular cleanings and toucps, maintaining clear windows without heavy scrubbing.
Cons
- •The product has a strong chemical scent described by some as powdery or even nauseating, which may be ofutting.
- •The aerosol trigger sprayer is often criticized as ineffective and could definitely use a redesign.
- •Struggles to remove hard water marks and calcium deposits, requiring prleaning or alternative treatments.
- •Needs to be stored in a warm location to avoid freezing during cold weather, limiting convenience in winter.
- •Best results come after prleaning; heavy buildup or extremely dirty windows might need additional effort.
Bottom Line
Sprayway Glass Cleaner Aerosol Spray is a powerhouse in glass cleaning, especially for those dealing with tinted automotive windows or wanting a versatile cleaner for mirrors, doors, and stainless steel. Its streak-free finish, quick action, and ammonia-free formula make it a standout, but be prepared to handle its strong scent and the finicky sprayer. If hard water stains are your biggest headache, you might want to complement it with a specialized hard water spot remover. Overall, it’s a solid buy for anyone wanting professional-level results without the fuss. If you’re looking for an alternative with a potentially gentler scent or a different spray mechanism, let us know and we can help find the right fit for you.
