TLDR Review: Soluna Solar Eclipse Glasses (2 Pack)
Verdict
Before you rush to snag these solar eclipse glasses, keep in mind that while they're certified and safe, they're also seemingly made of thin cardboard. Shop around, compare prices, and maybe just maybe consider other options unless you enjoy paying up for the novelty of cardboard chic.
- Top pro:
- Product has been tested and proven safe for viewing solar eclipses, giving you peace of mind while you geek out over celestial phenomena.
- Top con:
- Quality of materials could make a dumpster dive seem like a trip to Tiffany's. Expect cardboard so thin it probably cries in the rain.
Score
The Solar Eclipse Glasses by Soluna receive a moderate score primarily due to their effective performance during eclipse viewing and compliance with safety standards, as noted by many satisfied customers. However, several reviews criticize their high price relative to the quality, suggesting that similar alternatives can be found at lower costs.
Pros
- •Product has been tested and proven safe for viewing solar eclipses, giving you peace of mind while you geek out over celestial phenomena.
- •Comes with a fancy-schmancy certification (12312 for the nerds), ensuring your peepers are well protected while you ogle the sun.
- •High-quality product that screams reliability, so you know it won't bail on you when you're trying to catch that epic solar eclipse.
- •Ideal for that solar eclipse party you've been planning since... forever. No more FOMO!
- •Not just for one-time use, honey. These glasses are the gift that keeps on giving every time the moon decides to photobomb the sun.
- •Certified cool for use all the way to Texas. Yeehaw! Your eyes will be safe no matter where you are.
- •Described as being inexpensive. Because who wants to break the bank on cardboard glasses, am I right?
- •Has a paper frame and plastic lenses. Because nothing says 'I'm ready for science' like accessorizing with some stylish papercraft.
- •Safety certificates up the wazoo. Because, let's be real, nothing's sexier than knowing you won't go blind watching the sun.
- •Overall, reviewers think it's good quality for solar glass duty. Because who wouldn't want their eclipse viewing experience to be top-notch?
Cons
- •Quality of materials could make a dumpster dive seem like a trip to Tiffany's. Expect cardboard so thin it probably cries in the rain.
- •May very well be manufactured at a cost lower than your daily cup of joe, sparking worries about whether they'll last until the eclipse.
- •Further research suggested before buying, because apparently, these glasses are more mysterious than the dark side of the moon.
- •Overpriced compared to running to your local dollar store. Forget paying premium prices for what amounts to movie theater 3D glasses lookalikes.
- •Construction feels cheaper than a fast-food toy, and we're not talking about the collector's items.
- •Similar products available for less dough. Because nothing adds insult to injury like finding out you could've saved money.
- •Evidently, the images are more deceiving than a UFO sighting photo. Expectations versus reality might hit harder than a meteor.
- •Overpaid feelings run high. Because who doesn't love the thrill of realizing you could've gotten a better deal elsewhere?
