TLDR Review: SmartSweets Sourmelon Bites
Verdict
If you want a low-calorie, low-sugar gummy candy with a unique sourmelon twist and don’t mind a texture that’s a bit stickier than usual, SmartSweets Sourmelon Bites can be a refreshing alternative to traditional sour gummies. Keep in mind, the sour punch is milder than classic sour candies, especially since recent batches lost the sharper sour coating. If you crave a stronger sour kick or dislike less sweet gummies, you might want to explore other SmartSweets flavors or similar products with more intense sour profiles.

Cons

- •Exterior coating can feel slightly grainy, and the texture is different from other gummy candies, which some don’t enjoy.
- •The advertised sourness is less intense than expected, and other sour flavors from SmartSweets are noticeably more tart.
- •Those with a sweet tooth may find these gummies disappointing or difficult to eat due to the subdued sweetness.
