TLDR Review: Shark ZU102 Pet Vacuum
Verdict
If you’re a pet owner wanting a vacuum that genuinely tackles pet hair and odors with strong suction and no-hassle maintenance, the Shark ZU102 Rotator Pet Upright Vacuum is a solid choice. Its lightweight design, advanced brushroll, and HEPA filtration make it especially attractive for allergy sufferers and multi-pet households. Just keep in mind the shorter cord and absence of floor lights if you have a larger home or need extra visibility under furniture. For those needing longer reach or specialized floor attachments, consider exploring other Shark models, but if pet hair pickup and odor control are your top priorities, this vacuum delivers with style and efficiency.
- Top pro:
- Powerful suction that excels at removing embedded pet hair, dirt, and fine dust particles.
- Top con:
- Cord length is shorter than some previous Shark models, which may limit reach in larger homes.

Cons
- •Cord length is shorter than some previous Shark models, which may limit reach in larger homes.
- •No front-facing or wand lights, which are sometimes helpful for spotting dirt in dim corners or under furniture.
- •Lacks a separate hard floor attachment, reducing specialized cleaning options for delicate surfaces.
- •Although the dust cup is large, some users find it smaller than expected compared to other heavy-duty pet vacuums, requiring frequent emptying in very furry homes.
- •Best suited for small to medium-sized living spaces or apartments, less ideal for very large houses with extensive cleaning needs.
