TLDR Review: Shark S1000WM Steam Mop
Verdict
The Shark Steam Mop S1000WM is a solid choice for quick, light-to-moderate cleaning on sealed hard floors, especially if you value lightweight design and easy maneuverability. However, if you have a large space or heavy messes, or want a mop with longer-lasting steam performance and adjustable steam settings, it may fall short. Steam reliability concerns and a short power cord are important caveats to consider before purchasing. If steam longevity and longer reach are priorities, you might want to explore other Shark mop models or competitors with adjustable steam controls and longer cords for more versatile cleaning.
- Top pro:
- Effectively removes dust and dirt missed by vacuuming and Swiffer wet mopping, leaving floors visibly clean
- Top con:
- Cord is notably short for comfortable use, often requiring outlet changes or an extension cord
