TLDR Review: Shark MessMaster UV105 Vacuum
Verdict
The Shark MessMaster Portable Wet Dry Vacuum UV105 is a compact powerhouse designed for quick, versatile cleanup jobs around pets, cars, and small wet/dry messes. Its strong suction, variety of accessories, and durable build make it a fantastic secondary vacuum for those who want portability without sacrificing power. Just keep in mind it’s not a heavy-duty shop vac replacement and has a slightly short hose and louder operation. If you need a robust vacuum mainly for specialized or smaller tasks—which includes easy pet hair removal, car cleaning, or dealing with small spills—this is a smart, reliable choice. For users looking for a larger capacity or longer hose, consider exploring other shop vac options, but if compact convenience with solid suction is your priority, this one is tough to beat.
- Top pro:
- Exceptional suction power that efficiently tackles both wet and dry messes, including pet hair, spider webs, lady beetles, and debris on various surfaces like carpets, hardwood floors, and furniture.
- Top con:
- Hose length is somewhat short, causing some awkward angles during use, though this is partly offset by its lightweight design.

- •Compact size fits well under workbenches or in closets, making it a great secondary vacuum for home, car, or workshop use.
Cons
- •Hose length is somewhat short, causing some awkward angles during use, though this is partly offset by its lightweight design.

- •While powerful for its size, it’s best suited for small to medium messes rather than heavy-duty shop vacuum tasks; not a replacement for larger vacuums.
