TLDR Review: Shark AV2501AE Robot Vacuum
Verdict
The Shark AV2501AE AI Robot Vacuum impresses with its superior pet hair handling, effective navigation, and consistent performance on both carpets and hard floors. However, its inability to operate in complete darkness without smart lights and shorter battery life may require some planning around usage. If these points aren't deal-breakers, this vacuum is a robust choice for those looking to minimize manual cleaning.
- Top pro:
- Excellent navigation and persistent mapping for efficient cleaning.
- Top con:
- Not capable of operating in complete darkness without smart lights.
Score
The Shark AV2501AE Robot Vacuum receives a moderate score due to its effective cleaning on bare floors and user-friendly app features, particularly appreciated by pet owners for its ability to collect hair. However, it faces criticism for recurring maintenance issues, sluggish performance on carpets, and limitations in scheduling cleanings by room, indicating a need for improvement.
