TLDR Review: Schlage Connect Camelot Smart Lock
Verdict
If security is your priority, this Schlage delivers with legitimate deadbolt control and a serious alarm system—perfect for people who value substance over simplicity. The battery life impresses and smart home integration works beautifully, but that unreliable battery sensor and single included key feel like corporate budget cuts you'll actually notice. We'd recommend it if you already have a Z-wave hub and can forgive the finicky alarm settings, but those who want truly zero-headache smart locking might want to explore other options.
- Top pro:
- Controls the deadbolt (not just the door handle) for genuinely superior security against forced entry
