TLDR Review: Samsung S3 27" Curved Monitor
Verdict
If you want a solid, no-frills 27" curved monitor with good picture quality, decent refresh rate, and eye comfort features for everyday work and casual gaming, the SAMSUNG 27" Essential S3 Series is a worthy pick. Just be prepared to invest in a better stand or mounting solution for ergonomic flexibility and an external audio setup if that’s important to you. If you're eyeing a more versatile monitor with multiple inputs or adjustable stands out-of-the-box, you might want to explore other options, but for most, this model strikes a good balance between price and performance.
- Top pro:
- The 27" screen size is just right for multitasking without taking over your desk.
- Top con:
- Stand is basic and lacks height adjustment; you’ll likely need a desk mount for optimal ergonomics.

- •The 1800R curved screen enhances viewing comfort and immersion without adding bulk.
- •Setup is straightforward and quick, with included HDMI cables that work well out of the box.
- •The curve reduces unnecessary head movement compared to dual flat monitors, which is a nice boost for long work sessions.

- •Reliable Samsung brand with a durable design built to last in business or home environments.
Cons
- •Stand is basic and lacks height adjustment; you’ll likely need a desk mount for optimal ergonomics.

- •No built-in speakers or microphone, requiring external audio solutions.
- •Tilt adjustment options are limited, reducing flexibility in your perfect viewing angle.
- •While the curved design is a plus, some users might prefer dual monitors for easier multi-app management without software tweaks.
- •Not ideal for advanced gaming or high-end graphics work despite the 100Hz refresh rate.
- •Lacks some premium features you might find in higher-end models, such as USB hubs or multiple input options.
