TLDR Review: Samsung 75-Inch QN90D Smart TV
Verdict
The SAMSUNG 75-Inch QN90D Neo QLED 4K TV is a powerhouse for those who crave stunning picture quality combined with immersive sound, making it a fantastic centerpiece for any media room. Its bright, vibrant display excels in both well-lit and dark environments, while AI features and smooth motion handling make viewing effortless. If reflections on the glossy screen or the remote design are a concern, they’re relatively minor trade-offs for the overall premium experience here. Perfectionists chasing flawless black levels might still lean OLED, but for a bright, vivid, and feature-packed 4K TV with Dolby Atmos sound, this one’s a tough act to beat. If you’re looking for an alternative with potentially less glare and OLED-level contrast, consider exploring OLED options, but for balanced, all-around performance in large screen sizes, this Samsung is a top-tier pick.

Cons
- •Glossy screen surface can cause reflections in bright rooms, which may distract some viewers.
- •Some minor shading inconsistencies and limited shadow detail slightly detract from perfect picture uniformity.
- •The newer solar rechargeable remote and its mini design receive mixed reactions, with some finding it less practical and aesthetically cheesy compared to older remotes.
- •Setup requires a Samsung account, and the home screen includes ads—though these can be bypassed with third-party remotes like Harmony.
- •Mounting options are hindered by a poorly positioned power port behind the wall mount rail, making cable management tricky.
- •Removal of the One Connect box increases cable clutter behind the TV when wall-mounted.
- •While the built-in sound is excellent, certain users still prefer external sound systems, requiring an eARC connection which can sometimes have minor timing quirks.
